MDTB Cells ist eine Unternehmensgruppe von pharma­zeutischen Unter­nehmen für zell­basierte immun­modulierende Wirkstoffe und Medikamente. Der Schwerpunkt liegt auf Arznei­mitteln für neuartige Therapien (ATMP) für schwer­wiegende Krank­heiten, die durch eine über­schießende Immun­antwort/-reaktion verursacht werden, wie z.B. schwere Sepsis, chronische Lungen­erkrankungen (BPD/ CLD) und auch Graft versus Host Disease (GvHD). Der initiale Fokus von MDTB Cells bestand darin, in einem starken Co-Creation-Ansatz mit führenden Klinikern, Wissen­schaftlern, Patienten­organisationen und Aufsichts­behörden mesenchymale Stromazellen (MSC) für die Behandlung chronischer Lungen­erkrankungen bei Früh­geborenen verfügbar zu machen. MDTB Cells hat in den letzten Jahren seinen Schwerpunkt verbreitert, um effektive zell­basierte Therapien mit MSC verfügbar zu machen, die schwere entzündung­sassoziierte Krank­heiten und deren Komplikationen zu angemessenen Kosten adressieren. MDTB Cells is a group of pharmaceutical companies for cell-based immunomodulating drug substances and medicines. The focus is on advanced therapy medicinal products (ATMP) for serious diseases caused by excessive immune response/reaction, such as severe sepsis, Chronic Lung Diseases (BPD/CLD) and also Graft versus Host Disease (GvHD). The initial focus of MDTB Cells was to make mesenchymal stromal cells (MSC) available for the treatment of Chronic Lung Diseases in premature infants in a strong co-creation approach with leading clinicians, scientists, patient organizations and regulatory authorities. In recent years, MDTB Cells has broadened its focus to make effective cell-based therapies with MSC available that address severe inflammation-associated diseases and their complications at reasonable costs.

  • ist ein Spin-off des Universitätsklinikums Dresden (UKD) sowie des Zentrums für Regenerative Therapien Dresden (CRTD), welches über langjährige Erfahrung in der Produktion von MSC verfügt

* MSC ameliorate inflammation: MSC modulate hyper-inflammatory processes1-5 and thereby ameliorate inflammatory cytokine release, prevent the onset of organ injury or promote regeneration of organ damage.
